On the 24th November a small party of Leaders, Scouts and Cubs went to see Live 07 – a large show celebrating Scouting’s Centenary which was being held at the O2 Dome in Greenwich.

One of the Scouts from our Troop was taking in part in the show – he was carrying the Runnymede District flag in the opening.

The show was amazing! We watched a ‘Ready, Steady, Cook’ Scout style, Explorer Scout cycling around an assault course and ‘James Bond’ Mini driving (rescuing the Chief Scout’s Scarf!). The show was hosted by Peter Duncan (Chief Scout) as well as stars from CBBC.

It was amazing and as it finished all the 3,000 performers massed in the arena – a fitting end to a great show.
