Day Seven

Swiss National Day – August the 1st – is a double celebration in Kandersteg – a celebration for the foundation of the nation of Switzerland and the birth of Scouting in 1907 no wonder its a day long party.

Day Six

The Scouts headed back from their stay in the mountains today whilst the Explorer Scouts visited the village of Adelboden for high ropes and Via Ferrata.

Day Two

Day two – our first full day in Kandersteg and we explore the picturesque Ochienesse – a glacial lake high above Kandersteg. We also enjoyed the rodelbahn before returning home via the cable car.

Day One

A busy day with an early start….the Scouts all arrived at Heathrow Terminal One for our trip to Switzerland. Our destination was Kandersteg and the International Scout Centre.
